Valid Profile Photos
Profile Photo Requirements for Airsoft Defence
Your profile photo is used to help confirm your identity as part of your Airsoft Defence profile. Because the photo may be checked against your account details or supporting identification, it must clearly show who you are.
Please use the guide image below when choosing your photo:

What makes a valid profile photo?
A valid profile photo must be a clear headshot where your face can be easily recognised.
Your photo should:
Show your full face clearly
Be well-lit, without heavy shadows
Be taken from the front
Show you looking directly at the camera
Have your eyes open and visible
Use a neutral or natural expression
Be close enough that your face is easy to identify
Show only you in the image
Be a recent photo that still looks like you
A simple passport-style headshot is ideal.
What photos will not be accepted?
Your photo may be rejected if anything makes it difficult to confirm your identity.
Please do not upload a photo where:
You are wearing a hat, helmet, or head covering that hides your face
Your face is covered by a mask, scarf, snood, balaclava, or face covering
You are wearing sunglasses or tinted lenses
You are looking away from the camera
The photo is taken from the side
You are too far away from the camera
The image is blurry, dark, heavily filtered, or low quality
Other people are visible in the photo
Your face is partly cropped or hidden
Why are there restrictions?
These restrictions are in place because the profile photo is used for identity confirmation. Staff must be able to clearly compare the photo with the person named on the profile and, where needed, any supporting identification.
Items such as hats, sunglasses, masks, face coverings, or side-facing photos can hide key facial features. If your face cannot be clearly seen, your identity cannot be reliably confirmed, and your profile photo may need to be replaced before your Airsoft Defence profile can be approved or used.
Best practice
Before uploading your photo, check that it looks like a clear ID photo:
Face forward
No face coverings
No sunglasses
No hat
Good lighting
Face clearly visible
Taken close enough to identify you
If in doubt, take a new photo against a plain background using natural lighting.
